What makes us different: real cost
We do not rank deals on the monthly price alone. We spread the setup fee, the router fee, the promotional price and the price after the promotion ends across the contract term to work out a "real monthly cost". Deals with a low headline price but a high total drop down that ranking. Plans with no contract are compared over 12 months.
How we collect the data
Prices are collected automatically every day from the providers' own deals pages; 2 connection types are listed right now. Collected data does not go live directly: changes land in an approval queue and are checked before they are published. When a source changes its page structure the scrape fails and that provider's data is left as it was — we would rather show older data than let a broken scrape publish a wrong price.
Independence
We are not a reseller, subsidiary or agent of any provider. We may earn from links to provider sites; that does not affect the ranking. Ranking is based only on the real cost we calculate, and every plan page shows exactly how that calculation works.
